A selection of my journalism and broadcast work I’m a Guardian writer and contribute to newspapers and
magazines, both in Britain and abroad. I’m also a regular
reviewer and commentator on BBC Radio 4. I enjoy the discursiveness
of radio; it’s more like having an argument than writing.
I’ve always written about social issues. I’m particularly
interested in uncomfortable subjects, such as criminal children,
paedophilia and false accusers. Different outlooks on the world
fascinate me, from what we look like to a child with autism,
to how it is to live as an identical twin. I dislike orthodoxies,
and like to challenge those who are considered unchallengeable.
